So I followed some web tips online here and did this:Ĭlick on start and type device in the search for field, and then select Device Manager uninstall USB root hub I tried to use one of the ports 3.0 and 2.0 and it wouldn't read my USB, but I tried on another computer so I know this isn't the USB. My computer is a HP Envy 23-c100xt with Windows 8. Just got a new computer and I'm afraid I might have broke it. Uninstalled the USB root HUB and now computer will not work ![]()
